    CONTEXTUAL BACKGROUND

    The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. At work today in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities, we restore safety, dignity and hope to millions who are uprooted and struggling to endure. The IRC leads the way from harm to home.

    Since 2007, IRC has worked with refugees and other vulnerable populations in Jordan. IRC’s current programs in Jordan focus on urban interventions in the north that address gender-based violence specifically violence against women and girls for Syrian refugees and host community members as well as reproductive health care to Syrian refugees through clinics, and having mobile outreach health teams in both Mafraq & Irbid, and Economic Recovery & Development program. In 2013 IRC also started with Early Childhood Development programming addressing the needs of unaccompanied & separated children (UASC) and alternative care arrangements in Zatri and Azraq camps.

    In Jordan urban settings and camps, the IRC is implementing ECD programs to support young children and the caregivers of young children through two main interventions: center based activities through WPE centers and clinics, and a play-based home visiting intervention. High-quality ECD programs provide the foundation for children’s future academic success, health, prosperity and wellbeing. A large body of scientific evidence emphasizes the need for increased investment in early childhood, particularly for children experiencing conflict, crisis and displacement; these children are extremely vulnerable to the long-lasting effects that prolonged stress has on the developing brain. This program will contribute vital research to the evidence-base for the implementation of ECD in emergency responses.

    Job Overview/Summary

    The Senior ECD Officer will be responsible for overseeing the ECD trainings and capacity building for IRC ECD staff and volunteers, and IRC’ partners, in both urban settings and camps. The Senior ECD Officer will report directly to the ECD Manager, and will oversee the implementation of the ECD program activities, services, and research components in center based and home visiting, and will follow on the monitoring and evaluation of these activities. The Senior ECD Officer will develop, oversee, and maintain key relationships with relevant stakeholders/ partners. The Senior ECD Officer will represents IRC ECD program as needed.

    Major Responsibilities

    Provide ECD training and capacity building for IRC staff and volunteers, and for the IRC’s partners.
    Oversee the work of the field-based ECD staff and volunteers to ensure program quality and transparency.
    Conduct technical monthly meetings with the filed staff to insure good communication and experience exchange within the teams.
    Monitor the quality of the project, with the ECD Manager, against benchmarks determined.
    Supervise the organization and delivery of all ECD activities and services;
    Support in Designing and developing new methodology to support community level outreach and work.
    Whenever required, be the representative of IRC ECD for project activities, donor visits, local governance, etc.;
    Analyze technical gaps and project impact at the community level for project activities.
    Support in conducting ECD assessments and data collections.
    Act as key focal point for data quality and data screening.
    Ensure quality data collection and verification of data collected;
    Conduct regular field visits to ensure successful program implementation;
    Write regular field reports including progress against targets, all implementation details and challenges and provide the ECD manager with weekly/ monthly reports on the quality of the activities.
    Organize and attend regular meetings with relevant stakeholders and partners to ensure a coordinated and streamlined approach across targeted areas.
    Collaborate with relevant IRC field teams to optimize the ECD program implementation;
    Timely identification and discussion of project issues with ECD Manager and ECD Coordinator.
    Raise purchase requests for the needed materials.
    Support in market survey and goods quality check for the ECD materials.
    Follow up on the different logistic matters for the ECD team.

    Education

    Qualifications

    Bachelor degree in early childhood, social sciences, development, or any relevant related field.
    At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of ECD and/or community-level humanitarian work overseeing community-level programming (awareness sessions, parenting)
    At least 2 years of professional experience at middle management level
    Adhere program implementation to IRC policies at all times, including confidentiality and safe identification/referrals
    Demonstrated knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and planning
    Demonstrated knowledge of developing new community-level awareness raising and assessment tools
    Demonstrated experience in overseeing data collection and M&E activities
    Demonstrated capacity to lead a team (organize, plan and oversee)
    Demonstrated capacity to write clear reports
    Experience in working with communities (monitoring, training and overseeing activities)
    Outstanding interpersonal skills, and capacity to maintain excellent working relationships with relevant stakeholders
    Demonstrated capacity to perform well under pressure with overlapping deadlines in a challenging environment
    Excellent in written and spoken Arabic and very good English
    Preferred

    Working experience with an NGO/INGO
    Working Environment: This Position is based in Amman, with frequent visits to camps, governorates, and other program sites and location. Standard office work environment.

    1- Education Technical Coordinator/Arabic

    ROLE PURPOSE:
    The role of the Technical Coordinator/ /Arabic is to provide technical support in implementing the technical interventions designed for the Every Child Learning Partnership Program – The ECL project is a partnership between Save the Children and Pearson that aims to address the urgent needs of school-aged children by adapting an innovative education project that integrate new technology and holistic school interventions to support the learning and wellbeing of children. It targets Jordanian and refugee children in hosting communities (G4- G6) in public schools to advance their learning and protect their wellbeing. The project team will work with school teachers and leadership along with children and parents.
    KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
    Technical Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Support the development of project implementation plans and annual work plans. • Coordinate with the project team to ensure that the implementation of the interventions meets the agreed planned milestones in a timely manner. • Develop and/or apply assessment tools and resources related to teachers, children's learning and wellbeing, and school environment; analyze results; and develop action plans. • Develop and/or facilitate the development of technical materials and resources to support Arabic Language teachers. • Guide the technical design and implementation of remedial education classes in Arabic Language for children, and build the capacity of teachers to ensure quality.• Design and facilitate the implementation of specialized training for Arabic teachers, supervisors, school leadership, PTAs, and school counsellors to create quality-learning environment in schools. • Support continuous professional development of teachers through establishing community of practices and teachers circles, and utilizing new technology (social media, online courses, blended learning approaches).• Support and monitor the technical performance of targeted teachers through regular classroom visits and assessments. • Conduct orientation sessions with the school community and parents to help them understand the different components of the project. • Support other areas of Save the Children’s education programming as requested.• Prepare progress and technical reports and briefs.• Any other tasks assigned by the Educational Technical Specialist

    3- Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator


    ROLE PURPOSE: The MEAL Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the MEAL Manager in the design and implementation of program monitoring and evaluation, humanitarian accountability, and ongoing learning. This role will be fully dedicated to Save the Children’s humanitarian response / emergency and development program. The MEAL Coordinator is responsible for collecting project and program data from the field according to the set M&E plans and processing the data collected into usable formats for analysis. The MEAL Coordinator will also facilitate implementation of the Accountability Framework, ensure that lessons learned are communicated to stakeholders, and assist with cross-sectoral coordination.
    KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Support the delivery of effective Programmes, in both development and humanitarian contexts, by fulfilling the following responsibilities and others as they may arise:• Work with program teams to develop M&E plans and required tools, identify indicators and write logical frameworks for existing and new emergency programs and proposals• Design baseline and end-line surveys, including developing TORs, identifying consultants, training data collection teams, coordinating data entry and analysis, and writing reports• Conduct situation analyses and facilitate needs assessments in new programming areas• Work with program staff to coordinate the collection of data and organization of M&E activities, including training and orientating staff as required• Conduct field visits to humanitarian response projects to assist with data collection, verify proper use of monitoring tools, and facilitate more in-depth learning exercises with the beneficiary communities• Establish a system to track collected data, following up with program staff to ensure timely collection of data,• Oversee the data entry and analysis of data, and ensure that data is verified for accuracy and inconsistencies are addressed• Designing reporting formats and review reports submitted• Contribute to project reporting by consolidating data regarding progress toward project indicators• Facilitate, as necessary, lessons learned activities• Provide technical assistance and capacity building to staff and partners in the implementation of MEAL activities• Work with sectoral and MEAL staff to ensure that the minimum standards of humanitarian relief are maintained in accordance with the Code of Conduct.• Represent the principles and work of Save the Children to donors and other stakeholders when required;‬• Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of crisis or emergency.‬• Commitment to serving members and their donors, and to helping build a culture of member service throughout organization

    ROLE PURPOSE:
    The Child Protection Facilitator as part of CP technical team will provide technical guidance, support and strategic direction to the Child Protection at MOE schools works, which is currently being implemented by Jordan Country programmes that funded by PERSON.
    The role of the Child Protection facilitator is to assess, implement and guide school teacher and counsellor, school leader ship ,PTAs or any other related school member as they initiate interventions to offer psychosocial support and address violations of children’s rights: protect them from abuse, exploitation, violence and neglect. The facilitator will be responsible for ensuring that quality programs to meet quality standards and capacities of the teacher are developed to provide protection to children.
    Support the delivery of effective Programmes for Person project by:
    Work closely with CP coordinator to implement PSS activities and child protection intervention for person schools:• Track the implementation of the PSS in 19 MOE schools in different governorate. • Deliver awareness and Child protection materials sessions in relevant fields • Monitor the CP &PSS implementation at MOE schools and share the feedback through monitoring field report.• Ensures adherence to the Child Safeguarding Policy and reporting procedures for any child abuse case.• In coordination with the Child Protection team members, support regular participatory activities with different groups of children to identify issues affecting children in their school’s communities, and assist the teams to identify gaps and develop appropriate responses accordingly.• Perform any other duties as assigned by the CP coordinator.

    Lead the IP Systems team operations, projects, knowledge & skill development, define priorities for projects and knowledge ensuring they are aligned with corporate objective and strategy.


    Ensure Umniah’s SP ICT Systems compliance to industry and internal standards and frameworks.

    Responsible and accountable for Systems availability, performance, security, data integrity, ensuring active monitoring and review of SP services is in place according to daily, weekly, monthly checklists and operational procedures and policies.
    Perform Software upgrade to the stable and secure versions as per the vendors and industry best practices.
    Performing regular self-audits on IP Systems team members to base line systems performance and operations by utilizing the monitoring and audit tools in line with formal audits conducted by both internal and external penetration testers and auditors.

    Manage and Maintain SP Systems Hardware; Servers, Storages, backup in terms of upgrades, expansions, reactive support maintenance and proactive support maintenance.


    Proactively monitor systems and services to deliver a comprehensive service plan that insures business continuity and service delivery on time that meets corporate objective and growth plans.
    Perform Capacity Planning for the Systems within the Area of responsibility.
    New Technologies Research, Study, Analysis , Modernization and implementation.
    Manage activities related to product life cycle (on service time, .., till EOS).
    Validate Systems design, setup and configuration to be compliant with business requirements, performance needs, security and business continuity requirements.
    Prepare Action Plan for Root Cause Analysis of the network performance and availability.

    Plan and propose enhancement for Umniah Services in term of performance, utilization and features.

    Followup the resolution of MDS Customers complaints.
    Define team objectives, measure performance and implement plans for continuous improvement.
    Perform Network Proactive support to detect and solve the problems before customers complains.
    Monitor Systems Performance and KPIs to make sure all systems are meeting SLAs; Servers, Storage, Network and Services.
    Perform Systems daily check list.
    Review Systems and Services Performance Reports and take appropriate action to improve services performance and availability.
    Report the incidents internally and to the customers.
    Review MDS Ticketing system reports and analyze it to find and identify root cause.
    Perform Backup for all the systems within the area of responsibility.

    Technical Projects Management

    Manage the Projects within the Area of responsibility.
    Deliver the MDS Customers projects as per the SLA and Service provisioning procedures.

    Provide Technical Support for MDS Customers within Area of responsibility

    4. REQUIREMENTS
    Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or other related filed.
    Work Experience: more than 8 years – In Systems administration
    Certifications: Microsoft certification MCSA/MCSE, Cisco Certification CCNA, CCNP Voice, CCIE Voice is a big plus.
    ITIL, UNIX, Linux, Cloud Certificates are also preferred.

    Job Overview/Summary: Under the supervision of the Administrative Manager, the Administrative Assistant will support administration-related activities in IRC’s offices in Jordan (Country, Regional, Syria & SSU office). To undertake activities and perform duties in compliance with IRC policies and procedures.

    Major Responsibilities

    Facilitating and following –up on all administrative requirements of newly joining international staff, guests and TTAs (Temporary Transfer Assignment): tickets, visas, accommodation, work permits, annual residencies, shipment of personal belongings, finding apartment (if needed); in coordination with all related departments.
    Researching and booking flights, ground transportation and hotel accommodations, providing staff members with directions and guiding information.
    Assisting facilitators to conduct events/trainings in Jordan, including but not limited to creating detailed itineraries, submitting visa applications when needed and arranging flights, accommodation and transport.
    Communicating a weekly report in coordination with the Transport and Safety departments, of all travels, both incoming and out-going.
    Drafting all official correspondence letters, sorting and filing mails, documents and deliveries. Recording details of all IRC office mail pouches and international Skypack delivery and ensuring timely distribution to recipients.
    Raising PRs and preparing payments whenever needed.
    Handling the unit’s Petty cash.
    Maintaining inventory records for office supplies (stationery, cleaning and kitchen supplies, etc.) and promptly advise SC department of restocking needs.
    Performing all other ad-hoc duties, as and when assigned by supervisor such as raising PRs, proceeding payments checking offices’ needs and other tasks.

    Major Responsibilities: The medical doctor will be specifically responsible for conducting the following activities:

    Provide daily curative services for general diseases at the clinic for the cases at the PHC level

    ORGANIZATION
    iMMAP is a pioneering humanitarian organization leading the way forward in the effective use of information management practices and principles at the service of the humanitarian relief and development community.
    Background
    The Syria crisis is a profoundly urban crisis: damage, destruction and displacement are concentrated in major urban centres and cities. The majority of Governorate capitals and secondary cities have been damaged during the crisis. Many hospitals, schools, water supply and sanitation systems, electricity grids, industries and markets have been destroyed. Hundreds of thousands of homes and buildings have likely been damaged or demolished.
    In this context, a set of like-minded partners with complementary areas of expertise and profiling approaches in urban areas have established the Urban Analysis Network- Syria (UrbAN-S) under the leadership of iMMAP for working in close collaboration with the wide array of stakeholders working in urban areas within Syria for a better data, analysis, planning and response over a period of 24 months.
    The UrbAN-S understands the profiling of urban areas as an adaptive exercise, designed to draw a detailed picture of how cities are (not) functioning and how they cope during and in the aftermath of the Syrian conflict. The core scope of the UrbAN-S initiative is to support and contribute to the operational agencies/actors and coordination mechanisms on how to analyse the particularities of the urban areas and better address them in their planning and responses. This contribution is presented through a) expertise in urban analysis; b) Information Management tools and c) collaborative and inclusive approaches. Therefore, as a key outcome of the project, the UrbAN-S wishes to contribute to fostering a better response in urban areas in close collaboration with the existing structures and coordination mechanisms of Syria.

    This position might require frequent travel to other countries in the region, including Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Jordan.

    Description of Duties
    The Urban Analyst position is a senior role within the UrbAN-S project demanding strong analytical skills. He/she will be supporting the UrbAN-S’s core urban and neighborhood profiling and analysis functions and mechanisms with a close relationship with network members, key stakeholders and partners. Specific tasks include:
    General:
    - Actively contribute to the analysis of the urban areas covered by the project ensuring the inclusion and keeping fluent contact with the array of partners and stakeholders;
    - Conduct analysis of governance-related issues: stakeholder mapping, dynamics and actors’ profiles;
    - Capacity and gap analysis: 4Ws, community-based identification of response gaps;
    - Analysis of civil society structures and organizations;
    - Identification of entry points and associated risks and main outcomes sought in the location: durable solutions, stability and peace-building, return and reintegration
    - Review of secondary sources and reports – compilation of existing research findings
    - Deliverables include analytical papers, contribution to presentation materials and city profiles
    - Participate and contribute to technical & coordination project meetings and workshops to ensure inclusion of the array of partners and stakeholders and harmonization of methodologies and approaches;
    - Support UrbAN-S analysis unit to ensure that all final products are produced on a timely and efficiently manner following the defined project standards;
    - Any other duties as required
    Coordination:
    - Contribute to the representation of UrbAN-S network with donors, coordination bodies, national and international partners and key stakeholders as appropriate.
    Security:
    - Follow security protocols defined by the iMMAP Global Security Advisor under the supervision of the Project Manager.
    Organizational learning:
    - As part of the iMMAP commitment to organizational learning, and in support of the understanding that learning organizations are more effective, efficient and relevant to the communities they serve, it is expected that he/she will commit 5% of their time to learning activities that benefit iMMAP, as well as individual professional development.




    Accountability to beneficiaries:
    - iMMAP team members are expected to support all efforts toward accountability, specifically to beneficiaries of iMMAP programs, and to international standards guiding relief and development work, while actively engaging beneficiary communities as equal partners in the design, monitoring and evaluation of field projects.
    Specific Required Skills
    Education: Relevant university degree or higher education in urban planning, information sciences, political science, humanitarian affairs, or any other relevant field.
    Experience:
    A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in humanitarian and/or development affairs, urban planning or other related area. Proven understanding of the Syria crisis and its impact in urban areas is required. Excellent analytical and communication skills-adapting messaging to different audiences- are required. Field experience with needs assessments, profiling coordination, information management, or inter-agency coordination is an asset.
    Languages:
    Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English is required. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage, though not a requirement.

Is the personal ability of providing leadership to the other, but more importantly, it is also the ability of the person to accept decisions to which does not personally agree but have to meet workwise.
    TEAMWORK: It refers to the ability to work with a positive influence on team, helping and supporting others, putting aside personal differences in order to achieve the assigned goals.
    COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Communication skills refer to the ability of a person to communicate effectively with others within the team and the wide range to stakeholders during the process. It's about being able to communicate your messages to your audience and modify your communication approaches according to the needs of individuals and groups with whom you need to communicate. It is also about their ability to listen and extract key information and facts from interested parties.
    RESILIENCE: The ability on remaining constructive and positive even under pressure and stress, including their ability to overcome their own limits, coping with fatigue and be able to tolerate difficult and stressful situations. Resilience it is how a person handles his own stress levels, and ensure that it is able to remain a member of the operating team for as long as possible.
